Our Virtual Seminar includes an in-depth practice analysis, strategic planning, specific recommendations, up to 3 phone consultations, our CD set and a 1-year marketing plan.

You will listen to our CDs to get the marketing knowledge you need

We'll provide you with a comprehensive CD set that you can listen to at your convenience - in the car, at home or wherever. These CDs have the best, most on-target material available anywhere about private practice marketing.

By the time we talk, you will be "up to speed" about the most critical marketing strategies, so that our consultations will be as productive as possible.  You will also come away with dozens of ideas and insights you can discuss with us during your private consultations.

You'll help us to help you

Upon registration, we'll also provide you with a detailed questionnaire and instructions to help you organize the information we'll need.

You'll tell us all about your goals, your strengths, your community, your budget and anything else you feel vital for us to understand you. Allow up to 2 hours to complete your materials, though much of the work can be delegated to staff.

First in-depth phone consultation with your consultant

(Scheduled at your convenience, 60 to 120 minutes)

Once you've completed listening to the CDs and sent us your practice preparation materials, we'll schedule a phone appointment between you and your consultant. (If you have partners, they should also participate.)

During your phone meeting, your consultant will review the materials you've provided and ask you many probing questions about your practice and what you want to achieve. He will also work with you to define a budget, and will probably share some preliminary ideas with you as well.

Behind the scenes, we'll craft a "rough draft" of your marketing plan

Based upon your input and our many years of experience, your consultant will craft a rough draft of your marketing plan. In some instances, we will be able to create a very detailed draft based upon your input to-date; in other cases, questions will arise which we will "tie down" when we talk again. Either way, we'll use this draft as a starting point for our conversation when we talk again.

Virtual marketing plan presentation

(Scheduled at your convenience, 60 to 120 minutes)

Your consultant will present your custom marketing plan to you live, via conference call, supplemented with appropriate visuals over the Internet.  (We will direct you to a private website.)

During the plan presentation, your consultant will review your objectives and budget, and then present each of the plan's strategies and tactics to you.  Of course, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask as many questions as you like.  If necessary, your consultant will work with you to refine your plan. In the end, your marketing plan will fit your practice like a glove.

Your consultant will also discuss specific next steps and make implementation recommendations, so that you are clear on exactly what needs to happen next.

Third consultation (If Required)

If you require time to digest your marketing plan and all that you have learned, we can schedule a third consultation. However, so that we maintain momentum, we will schedule this call within a week of the second call. Most often these calls are simple, quick discussions where we discuss the "fine tuning" of your marketing plan.

HSS can help you implement your marketing plan (Optional)

Some of the recommended strategies in your plan will be low or no cost; others will require some investment. Of those that require expenditure, your consultant will recommend which ones you should execute in-house, which you should outsource to us, and which (if any) you should outsource to a third party.

We can help you with creative services (ads, brochures, Web Sites, etc.), printing, ongoing consulting and follow-up, media planning, staff training, search engine optimization and other services.
