This person will be responsible for assisting the SEO manager in all aspects relating to local SEO, reputation management, local listings, and organic social media. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter looking to expand their skills in the marketing field. Locals only; this is a part-time position (with opportunities to advance to full time) located out of our office in Irvine, CA. What You’ll Do: The Social Media/Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the ongoing management and growth of our clients’ local SEO, reputation management, local listings, and organic social media. The right candidate for the role is a proactive learner and problem solver, following and using new trends in social media to incorporate the best social strategies for our clients. Create, manage, and grow our clients’ presence across social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter Actively research, follow, and implement social media trends Craft compelling social media messages Create simple graphics with programs like Photoshop or Canva Research, fine-tune, and submit client information to various online directories Manage and optimize local listings using Google, Bing, and Yelp platforms Set up and implement reputation management entries for clients Communicate with internal teams and with clients as needed Who You Are/Desired Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in digital/social media marketing Highly productive/multi-tasking self-starter Familiarity with Google, Bing, and Yelp platforms Comprehensive organizational skills Experience researching, writing, editing, and crafting content for social media Strong attention to detail Experience with a design program like Photoshop or Canva Basic copywriting skills Where You’ll Work: Collaboration is essential to how we operate, and we’ve structured our office accordingly.
